Do these QR codes expire?
No. The address you type is encoded directly into the pattern, so the code does not go through our servers and has no expiry date or scan limit. It keeps working even if this website shuts down.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The whole code is generated inside your browser with JavaScript. Your links, WiFi passwords, contact details and logo files never leave your device.
Can I use the codes commercially?
Yes. Codes you create here are yours, free of charge, for personal or commercial use — flyers, packaging, menus, business cards, anything.
PNG or SVG — which should I pick?
PNG for websites, slides and social media. SVG for anything printed: it is a vector file, so it stays perfectly sharp from a business card to a billboard.
My code with a logo will not scan.
Reduce the logo size, keep error correction at Maximum, and avoid very dark backgrounds. Contrast matters more than anything: a dark code on a light background always reads best.
Can I track how many people scan it?
Not here. Scan statistics require the code to point at a tracking server first, which means the code stops working the day that service dies. We deliberately chose permanence over statistics.
